Partying to rescue man's best friend

The best party of the season will take place at Buffalo Wild Wings on December 16th, 2011 and you're invited. A benefit for our lost and homeless 4-footed friends. Be a part of the solution while you get to party and participate as judges determine the best karaoke singer in the 4 county region. Don't get left out. It's your night to shine. All proceeds to go directly to saving puppies and stray dogs. The local group, C.A.S.T Productions (Community Alliance of Stage and Theater,) well known for their wonderful mystery dinner theater productions, is partnering with Tommy Cage from Swing Shift Entertainment and Michelle Reno of Four Paws Pet Resort (and soon to be Rescue) to host this karaoke competition benefit. Buffalo Wild Wings at 6790 Doulgas Blvd, Douglasville, GA has generously agreed to donate 15 percent of all food and non-alcoholic beverage sales of that night to this worthy cause. Anyone who has ever loved an animal is encouraged to attend and take part. Although there will be no official charge to participate, all competitors and guests are asked to make a donation to this worthy cause. Showcase your talent and perhaps you will take home a prize! The show starts at 7:00pm, with the competition starting at 9:30. And even if you do not karaoke, come on down and show your support for saving man's best friend. Eat, drink and party while you mingle with the crew from C.A.S.T productions. Learn about upcoming shows and opportunities to be a part of C.A.S.T. and these rescue efforts . Get to know the animals that we have in need and find out the incredible story that started it all!

Murderous Crossing

The year is 1923 and audience members are passengers on board the HMS Victoria as it crosses the English Channel. The famous Inspector Clurrot has tracked down a homicidal mastermind hiding out on board. Meanwhile, the ship is the vessel of matrimony for the Contessa Follette and John D. Rothchild - a marriage encouraged through financial need and murderous greed. But not everything is as it seems, and it turns out that the English Channel isn't the only thing being crossed.

Audience members get to stand in for the best man, bridesmaid, mother of the groom, and father of the bride in this Agatha Christie style comic mystery. And everyone tries to figure out who-dunnit.

(participation encouraged but not required)

Blow-out Success

The Marquis Crossing Ladies Society's First Attempt at Murder

(a little bit of mystery and a whole lot of comedy)

Written by: Pat Cook
You think it's easy to write a murder? Just ask the Marquis Crossing Ladies Society for the Arts. They decide to do just that, especially when they find out they have to pay royalties to do someone else's play. "Anybody can write a murder," Emma tells the others, and Opaline immediately begins to try to strangle the other members "just to figure out how to do it." The ladies soon find themselves writing an "operatic murder mystery dinner theater with possible audience participation." Then two actual convicts on the lam decide the best place to lay low is with the ladies, who drag them into the play. A wise-cracking fast paced comedy where no one can tell the loaded guns from the unloaded ones.
